The floppy disk has officially been put to rest by Sony today. That puts them about eight years behind the rest of us... hell, the brand-new computer I bought at the beginning of 2004 didn't even HAVE a floppy drive.
Like I said when I got my first CD-R drive, and then my first flash drive: RIP, my annoying little friend. I'd say you'd be missed, but I don't like being a bald-faced liar.
