I will "kick" someone's "ass" if I don't get to see this...

There's already talk of protest groups trying to keep Kick-Ass from coming out due to it showcasing overwhelming scenes of violence, especially on the part of (and against) the eleven-year-old protagonist Hit Girl. I have the unfortunate luck of living in the buckle of the Bible Belt, so, of course, the Catholics succeeded in impeding my viewing of Dogma back in 1998 (although Matt was awesome enough to run over to my pad as soon as Video Stop got the VHS in stock). As such, I don't put it past another group of wackoloons to try and stop me from being able to catch the faux-superhero goodness that you can preview below.

P.S. - Chloe Moretz (Hit Girl) will continue her string of adult-like (but age-appropriate) roles as Abby in Let Me In, the American remake of Let the Right One In (#10 on my Top 10 of 2008 list). Psst... she plays a vampire. On a side note, she must have some really cool-ass parents.
