According to Bloody-Disgusting, it was announced today that Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov will be doing a live-action version of Seth Grahame-Smith's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (we posted the book's trailer a few entries ago).I've read Seth's hilarious Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (and I want to read Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters), and if Abraham Lincoln is anywhere near as good, it is RIPE for a flick version, bahlee dat. I love Burton as well (although I know some don't), and Bekmambetov impressed me a lot with Wanted and the excellent Night Watch vampire flicks, so I have HIGH hopes for this flick. If we're let down, it'll be surprising to me.
